Medium: Acrylic on Paper

India is almost synonymous with vibrant brightness, and although geographically India’s climate is very diverse there is one element you will never fall short of and that's sunlight. In her paintings Gorima attempts to capture the play of sunlight on the landscape, drawing our attention to the subtle details it hides and reveals when journeying across the sky. In this painting the solitary sun seems to have drunk the beauty of the twilight hour, where, much like a canvas, the vast open sky begins to shift its hues with time.
