This painting makes up part of Chris's new "Fizzog" series. When Chris was a small child his grandmother would ask ‘what’s up with your fizz hog?', meaning his face; telling him that it would freeze if he kept pulling such an unpleasant expression. He was amazed she knew such a big word as "physiognomy", the technical name for the study of facial faetures. This word is what dictated this series of paintings from Chris; and is intended to be an eccentric look at the locals of his area. Hopefully they don’t mind.
Medium: oil on canvas.
Size: 16" x 20"
