Maiko Nagayama established her adventurous design-led jewellery company in 2009, aiming to bring a rejuvenated sense of identity to the world of fine jewellery. Born and raised in Tokyo, and consequently inspired by human behaviours in the city and other intimate spaces, her psychological observations of people and their interactions with inanimate objects forms the key ethos behind her designs.

Using intensely coloured precious stones such as alexandrite, black opal, and emerald, Maiko imbues bold colours onto sensual, futuristic forms. The result is a range of marvellously sculptural wearable art which draws out the beauty of your own identity.
