Toby loves to experiment with and use different materials when designing new pieces of furniture, a process which helps him see shapes and textures in a new way; this piece so happened to begin life as nothing more than a couple of pipe cleaners! As a piece of design, this chair is all about the lines. And from the side you can see how every curve mirrors the others to give an unusual silhouette for a rocking chair. Originally, it was constructed completely out of maple, but by adding the walnut into the supporting curves, the two-tone effect now helps draw the eye through this chair's lines. Its shorter than usual design also means it doesn't take up as much floor space as a typical rocking chair would.

Size: 90cm High x 55cm Wide x 110cm Long
